B SERIES FEATURES AND DIMENSIONS
The B Filter Inserts strike the best balance between fine filtration efficiency and high dirt holding capacity, resulting in lowest cost for removing one kilo of contamination from oil. The B Filter Inserts remove all four contamination types in the same process: particles, water, acidity, and varnish.

FILTRATION CAPABILITY
All Guard Filter Inserts have a filtration degree of 3 micron absolute (equiv. to 0.8 micron nominal) i.e. 98.7 % of all solid particles
>3 micron and approx. 50 % of all particles >0.8 micron are retained in each pass.
The water absorption potential is up to 50% (i.e. 750 mL H20) of the total contaminant holding capacity.
